Island Architects specializes in the design of unique custom residences.  Established in 1980 in the U.S. Virgin Islands by founding partner Drexel Patterson, the practice relocated to La Jolla, California. Anthony Crisafi joined as partner in 1992 and the firm established itself over the next fifteen years into one of the premier residential architectural firms in southern California.

Island Architects is known for the high degree of design creativity it brings to a client.  Working in affiliation with interior designers, landscape architects and a team of proven contractors, Island Architects collaborates in a round table process to assure the highest quality of design excellence. We believe the key building blocks for successful design are flow, balance and proportion.
