Isothermal Community College is a public, two-year higher education institution located in Spindale, North Carolina, serving Rutherford and Polk counties as part of the North Carolina Community College System. Founded in 1964, the college operates multiple campuses, including a main campus on 142 acres in Spindale, the Polk Center in Columbus, and the Rutherford campus on the shore of an 11-acre lake, which houses the Foundation Center for the Performing Arts.
