ITCILO, the International Training Centre of the ILO, is a mid-sized advanced technical and vocational training institution based in Turin, in the Piedmont region of Italy. Founded in 1964 by the International Labour Organization and the Government of Italy, it aims to advance decent work for all by delivering practical, needs-based training and by strengthening the capabilities of governments, workers’ organizations, employers’ organizations, and other development actors across labor, social justice, and development.

It serves a global audience, with participants from more than 190 countries training on campus, online, or in their home countries. Its offerings include standard courses, post-graduate training, tailor-made programs, and longer-term capacity-building projects, all framed as lifelong learning. In November 2023, ITCILO announced a partnership with FUSE EV Conversions to explore environmentally friendly transportation solutions for Yemen’s rural communities.
