İçdaş is a Turkish steel producer and diversified industrial group based in Karabiga, Çanakkale. It has produced steel since 1970 and ranks among the country’s largest private-sector steel producers by capacity, consistently performing at the top of exports in the sector. The company operates beyond steelmaking, with activities spanning energy, shipbuilding, logistics and transport, port management, ship management, construction, insurance, mining, and agriculture and livestock. At the Değirmencik Integrated Facility in Değirmencik, Biga, it runs three steelworks and four rolling mills with substantial annual capacities, and it hosts a multi-asset energy complex including a 405 MW thermal plant, a 60 MW wind farm, a 4 MW hydro facility and a 0.55 MW solar installation. The site also encompasses a shipyard, two docks and a port with significant loading and unloading throughput, supported by what is described as Turkey’s largest private-sector port facilities and a dry dock with the country’s largest capacity. Additionally, İçdaş Group operates a separate 1,200 MW thermal plant in Bekirli Village, Biga, with two units.
