Jane Addams Book Shop in downtown Champaign, Illinois is a locally owned, independent bookstore that has been in business for more than twenty-five years.

With more than 70,000 titles in our shop it is hard to say we specialize, but we have a number of very well-stocked sections that span fifteen separate rooms on three floors.

Our book shop is also known for its collection of ephemera — postcards, tickets, and related items.  A large collection of old photos is included in this collection.  We also offer a good selection of greeting cards, journals and day planners.

In addition to our many book-loving customers, Jane Addams Book Shop is home to a variety of events including book signings, readings, children’s activities, and art installations.  We hope to expand our in-store activities in the future to include workshops, book clubs, receptions and more.
