The Japan America Society of Colorado is an organization focused on international affairs, based in Denver, Colorado. Founded in 1989, it aims to strengthen cooperation and mutual understanding between Colorado and Japan at a grassroots level. Through programs spanning business, education, and culture, the society creates opportunities for people in Colorado and Japan to engage with each other’s culture, history, language, arts, education, and exchanges.

With a small staff, the organization serves a community of participants and partner groups interested in Japan–Colorado exchanges. Its activities connect individuals and organizations—educational institutions, businesses, and cultural groups—through programs that support personal and business exchanges. In January 2025, JASC helped host the 48th Denver Kouhaku Uta Gassen competition, alongside the Denver Buddhist Temple.
