Scene Study Workshop, taught by a working actor and instructor with over 25 years of experience. For Beginners (with some experience) and Intermediate. In addition, an Advanced Scene Study Class is Now Forming! The best technique is not fancy, it's not a secret and it's not named after a famous person. It's all you. In my class you will stop thinking, work moment to moment and act by instinct. I wanted to create a class that I would like to take. One where the teacher gives me a lot of personal attention and really cares about helping me become the best actor I can be. One where I can laugh a lot and have fun when I want ... and be serious when I need to be. And most importantly, one where I feel safe to try it all. My professional training scene study class is exactly that. It's private coaching in a class setting. In addition to working on scenes, I sometimes include acting exercises and improvisation to help you relax or get you motivated, or simply to find a greater understanding of your character. And through these interactive exercises, you'll develop an approach to scripted material utilizing objectives, actions and emotions. My classes are progressive and individualized. You will grow at your own pace. But I will push you along. The only way to become an actor is by getting up and doing it. Remember, acting is a look-at-me business. So right from the start, you will get up and act. Classes are on-going (no beginning or end) and limited to 12 students in order to guarantee my personal attention. You'll learn tools to tackle your work with confidence and the knowledge to create characters. While I studied every possible style of technique, from Method to Meisner, I've found that the only way to truly create a full, rich, 3-dimensional character is by simply believing what you're doing. So in my class you listen, you understand what you want and you go for it. Because if you don't believe it neither will anyone else.
