Jerome M. Scott attended University of Cincinnati College of Design Art Architecture Planning majoring in Industrial Design, and received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from The Ohio State University.  He received the Herbert Baumer Scholarship, awarded to the graduating student with the highest GPA in design studio, and he continued his studies at The Ohio State University receiving his Master of Architecture.
Jerome M. Scott interned with Eisenman Architects in New York City working on several projects including the Columbus Convention Center, DAAP, and the Wexner Center for Art.  Jerome M. Scott left Eisenman Architects to work with Arata Isozaki in Tokyo Japan.  It was through this relationship that Jerome M. Scott was fortunate to work with noted Spanish Artist Javier Mariscal.  Eventually, Jerome M. Scott returned to Columbus Ohio working on the Center of Science and Industry with Arata Isozaki.
The relationships Jerome M. Scott developed in Ohio while working on Columbus Convention Center, Wexner Center for the Arts, and the Center of Science and Industry were instrumental in his decision to locate his design studio in Columbus Ohio.  In 1998, with the completion of the Center of Science and Industry, Jerome M. Scott Architects was formed, and in 2000 the firm was incorporated.
Jerome M. Scott Architects Inc. has grown from a local design firm to providing design services on projects across the globe.  Recent projects include Gubei Shang Hai Mixed Use Development, Wan Shan Golf Resort, and Children’s Discovery Zone Dhahram Saudi Arabia.  The firm has received design awards, as well as distinction in numerous International Design Competitions.
