Jewish Women International (JWI) is the leading Jewish organization working to make the world safer for women and girls. For 129 years, JWI has built safety, agency, and community for women—addressing gender-based violence and the conditions that allow it to persist. Our work is grounded in the belief that women deserve to live free from violence, supported by strong communities, and equipped to shape their own lives. Based in the United States and working with partners worldwide, JWI advances change through advocacy, education, and community-driven initiatives. This work includes I Believe Israeli Women, which centers the voices of Israeli women impacted by violence, and Young Women’s Impact Network (YWIN), which brings together Jewish women in their 20s and 30s to build community, leadership, and collective action.
