JFCS of Southern Arizona is a private, non-profit, non-sectarian behavioral health and social service organization based in Tucson, Arizona. For over 76 years, it has provided mental health care and related support to people from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their ability to pay. The agency emphasizes trauma-informed care, offering specialized therapy for children, families, and adults who have experienced crime or abuse, and maintaining programs for first responders, Holocaust Survivors, and others affected by trauma. It provides general counseling for anxiety, family and marriage concerns, conflict resolution, bereavement, and other life challenges, alongside direct emergency financial assistance and older adult support services. The organization also distributes Passover food baskets to struggling Jewish individuals and families and supports more than 60 Holocaust Survivors with case management, counseling, financial aid, in-home support, and socialization. Serving thousands of people of all faiths, ages, genders, and backgrounds, JFCS aims to reduce the stigma around seeking mental health care and promote healing and self-sufficiency in the community.
