J.L. Becker, a Gasbarre Furnace Group Company, is your single source for virtually any kind of heat treating equipment: Tip up furnaces, car bottom furnaces, batch and continuous furnaces for annealing, hardening, tempering and brazing. Our line of box furnaces includes high efficiency reheat furnaces, atmosphere tempering systems, and standard batch tempering systems. Becker Company began in 1970 as a manufacturer's representative for five major component part suppliers for both captive and commercial heat-treaters. Our furnaces, gas generators and auxiliary equipment have been manufactured under our company name since 1974. All design, engineering and assembly are completed in our facility in Plymouth, Michigan. In February 2011, Gasbarre Products, Inc., purchased the J. L. Becker Company.
