Company History JMF Underground is a central Pennsylvania based company that works alongside utility companies and their affiliates to complete maintenance as well as install new builds, which may include main lines and/or service line for their customers. We have been an active part of the Directional Drilling industry for over 10 years, working along the east coast on different projects to develop a feel for each individual type of installation. JMF is very familiar with the problems associated with all matters involving the underground business and works to achieve the highest standard and professional grade while doing any work. Our Services Directional drilling is an affordable and practical option for connecting utilities by lowering costs, hassle, and eliminating damage. By drilling under existing infrastructure without disturbing the surface, it minimizes costs, increases productivity, and prevents damage to the surrounding environment. JMF has multiple HDD rigs to service your current or upcoming projects, we specialize in all utility installations ranging from telecommunications, municipal, and the oil/gas industries. Training The well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment are extremely important to us. We take all the necessary precautions before starting a project, during, and after the project is complete. JMF Underground follows all rules and regulations set before us. All of our employees are properly trained for each specific job. JMF Underground prides itself on making sure all of our employees are safe at all times. JMF works to accomplish this goal by providing regular health and safety training, and performing constant field audits. With multiple full time safety personnel on staff JMF has the manpower to create a culture which revolves around safety. Included in our health and safety policies and in accordance with federal regulations, Drug testing is conducted for pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident; and per FCMSA / PHMSA & NCMS regulations are independently audited by National Diagnostics Inc, NDI; Safety statistics are available through IS Networld (ID#400-187804) JMF employees hold a daily tailboard meeting and are required to complete a job site specific work plan for any new sites. A safety committee comprised of both management and field employee representatives meet monthly to review the audit matrix of the past month and discuss possible health and safety items and changes.
