JMG is a Maine-based nonprofit that partners with public schools and private employers to provide a continuous pathway for students from middle school through high school graduation and into postsecondary credentials and career opportunities. The organization aims to raise high school graduation rates, improve college retention, and increase degree attainment by helping students overcome academic, financial, and social barriers. It offers a comprehensive program continuum that connects classroom learning with credential attainment and viable career pathways, equipping students with skills and guidance for lifelong success. As the only nonprofit in Maine offering this end-to-end support, JMG positions itself as a bridge between education and the state’s workforce needs.

Headquartered in Augusta, Maine, the organization maintains a substantial workforce and collaborates with schools and employers to serve Maine students. A recent development is a partnership with the MELMAC Education Foundation through its Aspire grant, announced in November 2024.
