JMS Acoustics is an acoustical consulting firm specializing in sound and vibration.

President and Principal Consultant, Michael Spencer brings over 16 years of experience in a diverse range of acoustical projects. Mr. Spencer is well recognized for his ability to adeptly identify the details that can affect acoustical issues and work with clients to find the best solution for specific situations. He values his client's time and resources as if they are his own.

JMS Acoustics provides services to a diverse range of clients, including developers, engineers, lawyers, facility owners, planners, etc. Several representative sectors include: Power Generation, Multifamily Communities, HVAC Sound & Vibration, Health Care Facilities, Mobile Communication Providers, Employee Noise Exposure, and Expert Witness Testimony.

The firm is actively involved with acoustical professional organizations and is a member of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), the Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE), The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA).
