John Deere Electronic Solutions (JDES) specializes in the design and manufacturing of ruggedized electronic controls and systems for original equipment manufacturers in industries that rely on their equipment and electronics to function under harsh electrical and physical environmental conditions – industries such as on-highway, agriculture, heavy construction, industrial control, material handling as well as many others.

We design and produce engine controls, transmission controls, body controls, electro-hydraulic controls, GPS receivers, telematics, graphical color displays, gauge and switch panels, and many other types of products including custom sensors. JDES also specializes in designing ruggedized electronic drive controls from the low-voltage, low-power ranges (2kW – 10kW) up to heavy vehicle traction drives in the high-voltage, high-power ranges (50 kW and above).

Services include: electronic design, software design, printed circuit board and mechanical design; embedded electronic system conceptualization; electromechanical system integration; material procurement; product test; prototyping; surface mount and thru-hole manufacturing, electromechanical and final product assembly.
