After over 20 years in the music business as bassist and songwriter for bands like Rainmaker, 1000 Pleasures and Sugarslide, along with cover band, ShakyJake, Johnee D'Shea Entertainment was born out of the lull in the Twin Cities (and nationwide) music scene in the early-2000's when bar bands began to lose steam because of a thing called the internet. The audience numbers weren't there in the volume that it once was and the support of musical groups was diminishing. It was time for a personal and professional change.

As a weekend DJ at a local roller skating rink for one and a half years, the experience opened up Johnee's eyes to the joy that DJing brought his fans, customers and staff. After leaving his gig because of lack of proper pay and poor management, he decided to go solo and see where destiny would take him. As word of mouth spread about his newly founded talent, Johnee started finding himself surrounded by great audiences at amazing events. 

The world of mobile Disc Jockeying was in his hands...and the music still beats in his heart.

After several private events, Johnee worked his way up to club/bar settings, Corporate events, Weddings, Graduations and Relay for Life fundraisers where he donates his time to finding cures for cancer.
