Johnny Mac Tennis Project is a New York–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that uses tennis to address economic, racial, and social barriers faced by under-resourced children in the New York City area. The organization provides a funded pathway to develop tennis skills, with the aim of supporting healthy, active lifestyles and social engagement, and, for select athletes, opportunities that may lead to college scholarships or professional prospects. Its services are positioned within philanthropic fundraising and youth development, focusing on access to high-level competitive tennis for student-athletes who might not otherwise have the means to pursue such opportunities.
