Johnny’s Markets came to life in 2014 when our family-owned company, Walters-Dimmick Petroleum (WDP), decided to rethink our 66 Shell convenience stores in central Michigan and northern Indiana.

From our headquarters in Marshall, Michigan, we imagined a new kind of convenience store — a friendly place where people could find a great cup of coffee, yummy snacks, household goods, and stylish interiors with sparkling clean restrooms around the clock.
