JLRD’s experienced staff of engineers, designers, and technicians specialize in the design of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems for a wide variety of clients. We are proficient at performing designs, studies, analysis, cost estimating, permitting, project bidding/review, construction administration including shop drawing review, RFI’s and field observations, and commissioning of engineered M/E/P building systems for new construction, as well as renovations, replacements, and remodeling projects. JLRD is experienced with sustainable design, having designed The School District of Palm Beach County’s Pine/Jog Elementary School, the first LEED Gold K-12 School in the State of Florida, and the District's First LEED Platinum Elementary School, Galaxy E3. JLRD is a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and has five (5) LEED Accredited Professionals on staff. We are fully cognizant of the M/E/P system impacts on sustainable building design, and their contribution for achieving credits in the categories deemed important by the USGBC in developing the LEED rating system.
