Jordan University of Science and Technology is a public, multidisciplinary university located on the outskirts of Irbid in northern Jordan. Founded in 1986 as an autonomous national institute of higher education, it was established to train professionals in fields that meet the needs of Jordan and the wider region. The institution now serves a substantial academic community, with more than 23,000 undergraduate students and about 1,800 graduate students, supported by over 800 full-time faculty. It comprises 12 faculties and 55 departments, offering 42 undergraduate programs and 95 postgraduate programs, with curricula regularly reviewed to maintain quality and keep pace with evolving scientific knowledge. The university hosts a diverse international student body, drawing learners from roughly 60 nationalities. In June 2026, JUST signed a memorandum of understanding with the MS Pharma Group to support practical training and develop competencies in the pharmaceutical sector.
