Janet Nolan, President, established JS Nolan + Associates Lighting Design, LLC in 1997.  JSN+ALD has designed the lighting for a wide range of domestic and international projects, which vary in size and complexity and include interior and exterior lighting and controls design as well as custom luminaire design.  Our body of work is extensive and encompasses a wide range of project types.

As Lighting Designers, we are an integral and essential part of the overall design and construction team. We work side by side with our clients, architects and designers, and the other members of the multi-disciplinary team to provide lighting designs that enhance and compliment the architectural or landscape design. We provide all associated drawings, schedules, specifications, and documentation. While we can provide limited consulting services, our work generally encompasses a full scope of services and spans all phases of the projects we design, from schematic design through the construction phase. We believe there is a direct correlation between this full involvement and a successfully realized lighting design.
