JSPY Architecture is a new firm that is currently in its formative stage. Husband and wife team Jason Shannon and Paola Yañez have started this firm so they can explore ways for architecture to influence how we live. We feel architecture is too often just an aesthetic and formal endeavor and with JSPY Architecture we want to explore ways for architecture to step out of its traditional role as a reflection of society and into a more proactive role to influence society. It is through this relationship between people and the built environment that we feel architecture fulfills its existential promise.
