The organization relies on more than 7,000 trained corporate and community volunteers and mentors who deliver over 20 programs to 50,000 students in classrooms throughout Broward and south Palm Beach counties, and at JA World Huizenga Center at the Lillian S. Wells Pavilion on the Broward College North Campus, a facility housing two JA BizTowns and JA Finance Park. Based in Coconut Creek, Florida, it was founded in 1959 by the Fort Lauderdale Rotary Club. JA South Florida has served almost 1,300,000 students since its local founding.
