Juniper manages a concentrated, long-only equity strategy in US small-cap companies. We seek to improve investment outcomes by taking large and engaged ownership positions to both enhance upside and reduce downside risk. Alexis Michas and John Bartholdson launched Juniper in 2007 after 30+ years of private equity investing and corporate leadership. They saw an opportunity to apply their unique backgrounds to the public equity market as a large and engaged shareholder in a concentrated set of underfollowed, high-quality businesses.
