WH Candy produces personalized wrappers for Hershey's chocolate bars, turning them into keepsakes for events such as births, weddings, graduations, anniversaries, holidays, and corporate promotions. Based in Hamilton, Ohio, the company operates within the food and beverage services sector, focusing on customized packaging and gift items that add a personal touch to celebrations. Its approach relies on personalization and a graphic design capability to deliver unique keepsakes.
Originating in 1993 after founder Ed Carson was inspired by his granddaughter's birth, the company expanded nationwide by 1995. It operates a 16,000-square-foot facility that includes production, offices, and a graphic design department, shipping nearly 3 million personalized bars to customers around the world and having sold over 100 million wrappers. The business is owned by Steve Mandell, who has broadened its offerings beyond birth announcements to include a wide range of favors for occasions, large-scale events, corporate branding, and promotional items.
