Kaiser Transportation Services (KTS), is owned and operated under the Kaiser Foods umbrella. KTS serves as its own entity working with our asset division Kaiser Transport, L.L.C. We are a family owned company in its third generation of leadership under the direction of David M. Kaiser and his siblings. Entering the 21st century, David Kaiser had the drive to bring more value to his customers and their supply chain outside of just being a food supplier. He entered the transportation sector by creating Kaiser Transport, L.L.C., to assure deliveries were on time to his customers without fail. With the success of Kaiser Transport came new challenges, but also created new opportunities. With an increase of production, and the demand of customers wanting to purchase more product from Kaiser Foods, David sought out another reliable source outside of his own assets. After trying several third-party logistics companies, and growing frustrated with the lack of service and overall supply chain knowledge, David saw another opportunity. In 2006 Kaiser Transportation Services was started. Knowing that the 3PL sector was becoming increasingly popular with new companies competing in a competitive market daily, Kaiser Transportation Services only function starting out was to focus solely on Kaiser Foods product, and its direct vendors. The goal was to "start with what we know, and what we are good at", to assure that pick-up, and delivery were made on time. "Service our employees, and the customer at all cost", was the mindset of the business. Kaiser Transportation Services is built off of learning Kaiser Foods, and their vendors supply chain processes. K.T.S. looks to provide efficient value where needed, and being an honest problem solver. With our strategic growth, and study of our own supply chain operation, we do consider ourselves unique. Our vision today is not to set our sights on being the biggest 3PL provider, but to be the best problem solver, and service provider.
