Kampf Machinery UK Ltd., founded in 1976, designs and builds primary and secondary slitter rewinders for a range of flexible materials including plastic film, labelstock, paper and board. With more than 1,000 installed machines worldwide, the company has designed and installed some of the largest film slitters at 10 metres wide and systems capable of speeds up to 1,500 meters per minute. It is based at a production site in Kempston, near Bedford, England, and positions itself as a leading supplier of slitter rewinders for the global packaging industry.
In 1981, Kampf UK expanded by acquiring Titan Converting Equipment Ltd, adding a line of secondary slitter rewinders for narrower widths used in printed and laminated flexible packaging materials. Titan has a substantial installed base and has earned the Queen's Award for Export Achievement, underscoring the group’s export orientation. Today, Kampf UK maintains a substantial workforce at its Kempston facility and continues to serve customers worldwide with primary and secondary slitter rewinder technology for flexible materials.
