Kansas Protein Foods - ADM Nutrition is a small Hutchinson-based manufacturer of plant-based proteins for the food industry. With a history spanning more than 50 years of product development, it produces textured soy proteins from U.S. soybeans, including Ultra-Soy textured soy flour and Imagic textured vegetable protein, and performs onsite flavoring to tailor offerings.

The facility holds SQF Level 2 certification, and Ultra-Soy products are Kosher and Halal certified, with all Imagic products Kosher and many having Halal designation. Its textured vegetable proteins are intended for meat extension, full meat replacement, or protein enhancement across a range of food applications. In January 2023, Archer Daniels Midland Company completed its acquisition of Kansas Protein Foods, LLC, integrating it into ADM Nutrition.
