Established in Hartford, Wisconsin in 1986 by Scott Boyd and his brother Mike, Karavan embarked on a journey driven by a passion for crafting exceptional trailers. Over the years, we've evolved and expanded our expertise to meet the dynamic demands of the industry.

 

As we continued to thrive, we reached a pivotal point in 1994 when our growth necessitated a larger space. This prompted the envisioning and realization of a cutting-edge manufacturing facility and offices in Fox Lake, Wisconsin. With this expansion, we transitioned into a new era of innovation and production efficiency, officially relocating in January 1995.

 

Karavan's dedication to excellence led to our recognition as a leader in the trailer industry. A new chapter unfolded when Southlake Equity, a respected partner with experience in the trailer industry and a strategic vision, recognized the potential of our business. The acquisition by Southlake Equity in 2019 has further fortified our foundation, opening doors to enhanced resources and growth opportunities.
