Kasper Machine Co is a machinery manufacturer based in Madison Heights, Michigan. Founded in 1942 as Kasper Manufacturing Company on Detroit’s east side, it built a reputation for remanufacturing and retooling boring machines and supplying tooling components and short-run production parts, while expanding its own line of precision boring and turning machines over time. The company emphasizes in-house engineering, machining, and hydraulic work, enabling it to tailor technology and components to meet customer technical and delivery needs. Its positioning reflects a focus on customers in manufacturing sectors that require precise machine tools and dimensional control solutions, including its later alignment with IMS Deltamatic Group and its distribution of Samsomatic products in the US, Canada, and South America. The business operates in a changing market by balancing in-house capabilities with purchased components to address varied project requirements and application scopes. A notable recent development is Kasper’s integration into IMS Deltamatic Group in 2005, reinforcing its role within a broader international context.
