The Katonah Museum of Art is a small to mid-sized cultural institution located in Katonah, New York, in Westchester County. Accredited by the American Association of Museums, the museum operates without a permanent collection, focusing on rotating exhibitions across art and humanities. Each year it presents roughly ten to twelve exhibitions, reflecting a broad range of cultures and time periods. The museum serves the general public and more than 100 member schools, offering lectures, films, workshops, concerts and other programs. Its Learning Center is the only daily-access, interactive space in Westchester County that enables children to explore and create art, while outreach programs support literacy and assimilation for the local Hispanic immigrant population; annual attendance is approximately 40,000.
