Growth through MoDOT KCI is actively expanding in Missouri with new design-build contracts for I-70 improvements and ongoing Route 67 safety projects, signaling a growing opportunity to offer progressive construction technology, subcontractor networks, and project-management services aligned with state transportation initiatives.

Public Sector Focus Recent awards and selected design-build engagements with MoDOT and state infrastructure projects indicate a strong government-focused pipeline, presenting a sales entry point for compliance-driven procurement solutions, safety-focused offerings, and life-cycle project services.

Integrated Delivery As a self-performing general contractor with design-build capabilities and a union workforce, KCI may value solutions that streamline collaboration, BIM coordination, document control, and prefabrication efficiency to maximize quality, schedule reliability, and labor productivity.

Infrastructure Momentum Active involvement in bridge rehabilitation, water treatment plant milestones, and highway projects points to demand for long-term infrastructure expertise, including asset management, maintenance planning, and sustainable construction practices.

Technology Stack Fit KCI’s use of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, DocuSign, and Microsoft 365 suggests receptiveness to digital workflow enhancements, EIRs and RFI management, as-built documentation software, and client-facing collaboration platforms to improve efficiency on large public projects.
