KDI Group got its start in 1997 as KDI Designs, Inc.   Under the leadership of sole proprietor, Kathryn Michaud, KDI Designs offered “Simply Elegant Gemstone Jewelry” to industry retailers and wholesalers.   Products incorporated a variety of materials to accommodate all budgets: brass plated, pewter, sterling silver, 10-18 kt gold, and a large selection of gemstones focusing on both precious and non-precious gems, birthstones and exotics. 


In 2014, KDI Group LLC was created out of our clients need for a comprehensive solution to their needs. KDI Group now offers Custom Jewelry, Corporate Branding and Marketing Solutions.



In 2018, KDI made the difficult, albeit best decision to cease Jewelry Manufacturing in our Greensboro, NC office due to the increased needs for Marketing & Promotional Products from our client base.  Custom Jewelry is still available for our clients - however, we will approach the process from a different angle. 


KDI’s unique approach allows us to partner with our clients, learning about both their industries and marketing needs in an effort to guide them through the promotional products marketplace.


Our sales and administrative team are located in Greensboro, NC.  Clients are encouraged to schedule appointments to stop by our offices on Spring Garden St. and browse our promotional product and jewelry showrooms.
