Kent School Services Network (KSSN) is a nonprofit organization implementing the community school strategy across Kent County, Michigan. We partner with schools to ensure students and families have access to the resources, relationships, and opportunities they need to thrive.

Today, KSSN operates in 49 schools across six public school districts, embedding Community School Coordinators directly in buildings. These coordinators serve as connectors, working alongside school staff and community partners to identify needs early and link students and families to essential supports.

By bringing health, human services, and community partnerships into the school setting, KSSN helps remove barriers to learning, strengthen attendance and engagement, and create environments where every student feels a sense of belonging, safety, and care.

Through collaborative leadership and deep community partnerships, KSSN is advancing a shared goal: ensuring every child is supported, connected, and positioned for success in school and in life.
