Kentucky Speedway is a 1.5-mile superspeedway in Sparta, Kentucky, about 35 miles south of the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region. It draws spectators from Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and surrounding areas, placing it within the regional spectator sports landscape. The venue hosts the Quaker State 400 presented by Walmart NASCAR Cup Series race each July and has periodically hosted NASCAR Xfinity Series and Truck Series events as part of a tripleheader weekend, while also hosting other events such as concerts, driving schools, and car shows. The facility offers an infield Fan Zone and interactive fan engagement areas that give visitors views of pit road, garages, and Victory Lane, with additional spaces for corporate guests, including suites, hospitality chalets, and open-air terrace boxes, as well as infield and concourse RV areas. Brands and sponsors can gain exposure and deliver messages to attendees through displays and sampling in these settings. A recent development in the site’s partnerships includes Shady Rays’ sponsorship of a NASCAR Xfinity Series race in 2020.
