Kiawah Island Community Association (KICA) is a nationally recognized community association responsible for preserving the quality of life on Kiawah Island for those that own property on the island. We are dedicated to ensuring Kiawah Island maintains itself as a beautiful, safe, well-maintained and friendly community. The Kiawah Island Community Association exists to preserve and enhance the quality of life and property values of its members. It accomplishes this by providing a framework to establish and enforce community expectations and standards; by undertaking and implementing strategic and operational planning; and by leading the staff of well-trained employees who are committed to quality service. Through its programs and services, the association plays a leadership role in ensuring that Kiawah Island is a beautiful, safe, well-maintained and friendly community. All property owners become members of the Kiawah Island Community Association (KICA) upon purchase of their property.
