KidCo, Inc. is a small- to midsize manufacturer, marketer, and distributor of upscale consumer goods based in Vernon Hills, Illinois. The company develops safety-focused products for homes, including a broad lineup of gates for children, pets, and hearths, available in both pressure-mounted and wall-mounted configurations. Its gate designs emphasize flexibility and safety, with models such as the Gateway and the ConfigureGate system that are built to meet ASTM standards and the stricter European requirements. The product range also extends to travel accessories, like the PeaPod travel bed and BabySteps feeding items, and, in 2007, the company added wooden bed rails to support sleep-time safety.

The company serves retailers and end consumers through catalogs and online shops catering to the juvenile, pet, and fireplace markets, supported by a suburban Chicago facility focused on distribution and administration. In October 2023, KidCo introduced a Quick Install gates lineup intended to reduce packaging and shipping costs and pass the savings on to customers. Its gates are designed and engineered in Denmark, reflecting a focus on safety-driven product development and adherence to international standards.
