Kids on Bikes is a Colorado Springs-based nonprofit organization focused on promoting healthy, active, and joyful lifestyles for children through biking. Its work centers on three priorities: providing access to road-ready bikes for kids in need, empowering children with bike safety, and encouraging more frequent riding through organized events, all delivered with support from a dedicated community board. The organization serves children and families in the local area, aiming to give kids the freedom and confidence that comes with owning and riding a bicycle. Positioned within the nonprofit sector that promotes youth wellness and outdoor activity, Kids on Bikes operates from its Colorado Springs location and partners with community groups to advance its mission. Recent collaborations include partnerships with TrueSport for National Bike to School Day initiatives and with local media outlets to raise awareness of their programs.
