Kinema is a New York-based entertainment provider focused on changing how audiences connect through storytelling. It aims to build what it describes as the world's largest movie distribution network to support a shared, human-centered viewing experience that is intended to be impactful and thought-provoking. The company operates with a relatively small to mid-sized team.

Its platform gives creators greater control over pricing and access, including options to set rental terms and to offer payments on a sliding scale. This approach targets both filmmakers seeking broader distribution and viewers seeking engaging, accessible cinema. A concrete development in 2026 is Kinema's plan to launch The Booking Fair at the IND/EX conference, signaling an initiative to advance its distribution model.
