Focus: 
My commitment is especially strong for women working in technology. There is huge opportunity for women working in IT roles;
 - Studies show a  34% higher ROI when there are women in IT management roles. 
 - The number of technology jobs are expected to increase by 32% from 2008-2018. 
 - Some of the highest paying and most creative jobs for women are in technology. 
At the same time: 
 - The number of women majoring in computer science declined by 79% from 2000 – 2011
 - The number of women in technology jobs declined from  38% in 1987 to 25% in 2011
 - 56% of women working in technology leave the field between year 10-20

Why me:
For 30 years I have consulted with national retailers such as CVS, GAP and Vera Bradley with oversight responsibility for business and system re-engineering projects including system selection and implementation. I knows what it takes to deliver a project on time and on budget, to build strong teams and to generate add-on consulting business worth millions of dollars.

On the other hand I have also experienced firsthand the isolation, frustration and rejection often associated with working in what is (mostly) a male dominated industry. It is my personal mission to help women overcome these barriers so they can enjoy a long and successful career in technology and in turn help to reverse the trend of women leaving the technology field.
