KIPP Baltimore operates two public charter schools and alumni support programs designed to build students' academic skills and confidence as they pursue career pathways. The organization serves about 1,500 students from kindergarten through eighth grade across two campuses sharing the former Walbrook High School building in West Baltimore: KIPP Harmony Academy (Kโ5) and KIPP Ujima Village Academy (6โ8). Its KIPP Forward program extends support to more than 3,000 current students and alumni, helping them navigate higher education and career opportunities. As part of the national KIPP Public Schools network, the organization sits within a system that comprises about 280 schools, 15,000 educators, and 175,000 students and alumni. KIPP Baltimore is based in Baltimore, Maryland, and was founded in 2002. In 2022, Accenture partnered with KIPP Baltimore and local organizations to expand internships and work-learning experiences for high school and college students in the city.
