The KISS Institute for Practical Robotics (KIPR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 1994 to make the educational benefits of robotics accessible to students everywhere. Our name comes from the principle “Keep It Simple, Students”—a mindset that empowers learners to solve complex problems through creativity, teamwork, and practical design. At KIPR, our mission is to: Advance STEM education and improve public understanding of science, technology, engineering, and math. Inspire and equip students with the skills, character, and aspirations needed for success in school, careers, and life. Enrich schools and communities by fostering innovation, collaboration, and opportunity. Through programs like Botball and the Junior Botball Challenge, we are helping create the next generation of innovators, leaders, and problem-solvers.
