KMS Tools & Equipment is a Canadian distributor of tools and equipment that serves professional tradespeople, contractors, and serious hobbyists. Headquartered in Coquitlam, British Columbia, it operates 14 locations across BC and Alberta and maintains an active e-commerce site. The company was founded in 1984 with its first store in Coquitlam and remains Canadian owned and operated. Its approach blends knowledgeable in-store staff who test products and advise customers from a wide range of major manufacturers with an outside sales force that provides on-site consultations, shop installations, and commercial quotes, and a policy to match or beat competitor pricing. In addition to retail, KMS operates a 25,000-square-foot distribution warehouse in Coquitlam, a distribution facility in Abbotsford, and KMS C.A.R. Parts, which offers custom and restoration auto parts.
