Know Yourself is dedicated to the idea that Self Literacy - knowing how your body and mind work - makes you better at everything: health, friendship, school, work - life! We make educational toys, games, books, comics, and lifestyle products that teach children this valuable skill and help parents engage with their kids on this critical subject. The result is happier kids who are more self-confident and make better decisions for themselves.

We are a passionate community of parents, educators, artists, writers, and healthcare professionals who have come together to make Self Literacy as fundamental to early education as the ABCs and the 123s. As a Public Benefit Corporation, we have made social values a core part of our charter. We donate 5% of our annual after-tax profits to organizations supporting local communities, the arts, and education. Whenever possible our products use sustainably produced materials from Fair Trade labor sources. Our Benefit Corporation status allows us to put our mission of blanketing the Earth with Self Literacy ahead of shareholder interests, but we believe the two go hand-in-hand. We use the power of profit and capitalism to fuel our altruistic mission.
