Komelon USA is part of Komelon, described as the world’s most vertically integrated tape measure manufacturer and distributor, managing the spectrum from raw material production to global marketing and distribution. Since 1963, Komelon has produced a full line of tape measures for contractors and homeowners. Komelon USA was established in 1997 in Waukesha, Wisconsin, as a North American sales and distribution center.

The operation maintains high inventory levels to enable fast, accurate shipments and to support customer service, and it also offers private labeled tape measures for North American customers. In 2007, Komelon expanded its offerings by acquiring Meter-Man, adding a line of distance measuring wheels. The company has introduced innovations in tape measures, including open reel fiberglass long tapes and features such as magnetic tips and self-locking mechanisms, along with a range of models like Self Lock, Monster MagGrip, PowerBlade, and stainless steel tapes.
