Koniambo Nickel SAS is a mining company based in Koné, in the Province Nord region of New Caledonia. It is developing a large-scale industrial complex near Koné intended to expand nickel production and position New Caledonia among the world's leading nickel producers. The project relies on a nickel deposit described as among the most significant and high quality, aiming for long-term, low-cost extraction aligned with sustainable development principles.

When completed, the operation will include a mine, a nickel smelter using a pyrometallurgical process, a power plant, and other supporting infrastructure, such as a private deep-water port, an 11-kilometer overland conveyor, and a seawater desalination plant. Early ore processing was planned for the first half of 2013, with production targeted to reach about 60,000 tonnes of nickel contained per year by 2014, supported by a mid-sized workforce.
