Jann Kostecke CPA LLC is a sole practitioner firm specializing in small business and tax preparation services. Jann’s background includes both public accounting and private industry experience. She spent her early career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen & Co in Kansas City, Missouri. She then joined Kimberly-Clark Corporation and served in several roles covering many areas, including manufacturing, distribution, sales, marketing, research, and accounting services in domestic and foreign locations. Jann left Kimberly-Clark in order to focus her work in the areas she cares about the most. Jann has always enjoyed helping people more than anything in her career, feeling that as a small CPA firm she would get the opportunity to personally help all kinds of people with their tax and accounting needs. She likes puzzles, and tax returns are a little bit like puzzles to her, with the additional requirement of knowing the complexities of federal and state tax code. It’s a big snore to a lot of people, but to Jann, doing taxes is challenging, and challenging is fun. She believes in using maps to help her get to a place she’s never been before.
