KPSU is a Portland-based college radio broadcaster that operates as a student-run, non-commercial, freeform station affiliated with Portland State University. Since 1994, it has provided 24/7 streaming programming that emphasizes individual DJ choices and eclectic, arts-focused content, aiming to reflect the voices and experiences of PSU students while serving the broader Portland community. The station relies on volunteers, primarily students, who curate a diverse range of music and cultural programming without imposed formats, thereby offering a platform for emerging artists and countercultural voices. Currently delivering content online, KPSU anticipates a future return to a citywide FM presence, and it invites interested volunteers to get involved through its email contact.
