Kocher Schirra Goharizi is a full service electrical engineering firm. The present firm is a continuation of the practice originally initiated by John Kocher in 1949. KSG provides three distinct services.  Our design group provides full electrical engineering services from concept design through construction administration for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, data and telephone distribution.  A large portion of our work has been institutional and industrial facilities, including several entertainment industry facilities. A significant part of this work has been renovation, modernization and upgrade of existing facilities. Additional services provided by this group include master planning, due diligence, system commissioning and startup. Our analytical group performs computer simulation of power systems and power system studies. Typical services include short circuit, load flow, voltage drop and coordination studies. Our forensic group provides expert witness services in legal matters.  Our experts have provided electrical related testimony in construction defects, personal injury and fire cases.  Approximately 80% of KSG’s clients are repeat customers or referrals.

Kocher Schirra Goharizi's project managers are the single point of contact with the client. These project managers each have a minimum of 20 years of experience. Design quality is assured through review by an expert who is not directly involved in the project.

Kocher Schirra Goharizi has three Principal Engineers. The Principal Engineers oversee the day to day operation of the company, perform quality control on all work performed by KSG, perform electrical design and manage projects. KSG has thirty (30) full-time employees, including three (3) clerical staff and our only office is located in Glendale, CA.
