Investing in families, providing for our communities! We began official operations on April 2, 1894 with 333 members and no treasury. Today, over 120 years later, we are a non-profit fraternal organization that has more than $480 million in assets and over 38,000 members coast-to-coast. Our mission remains the same -- to provide our members and their families with financial security and fraternal benefits that promote traditional Christian and family values. Life insurance and annuity products are a fundamental strength of KSKJ Life. However, the fraternal aspect of KSKJ Life is equally important because it provides the living structure for us to continue to express the passionate mission of our founders- a vibrant community, strong in faith, rooted in family, connected by love. Because we are a not-for-profit fraternal benefit society, each member is also a society owner. By law, we operate under a lodge system. Officers of each lodge are elected democratically, as are the KSKJ Life Board of Directors. Whether hosting a pancake breakfast to raise funds for school needs or coordinating donations by multiple community organizations on behalf of needy children, our members give of themselves with the same passionate spirit of their forefathers.
